Bob malone plays david letterman show with john fogerty & more!
What a way to end the year!
Four weeks, three countries, 18 shows, two TV tapings, two Thanksgiving
dinners, and one tenacious flu bug! The Bob Malone band played England
and Italy, then Bob flew directly from Milan to Miami to join up
with JOHN FOGERTY
for a run of shows in Florida. After that, two shows in LA: the
Dave Nachmanoff CD release concert with
AL STEWART sitting in, and a set with the Malone band at Cadillac
Zack's Monday Blues Party & Jam. Then back to NYC for two
sold-out John Fogerty concerts at the Beacon Theatre,
THE LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN, and a mini-set taping at
Hard Rock Live in Times Square for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Here are some choice YouTube clips from the tour:

NEW ALBUM REVIEWS!
Two great reviews
for
"Ain't What You Know" in the press this summer.
FILTER MAGAZINE says:
"A new peak in what's been a rather mountainous career, Malone's
latest shows off everything that makes him dear to his loyal fans"
HERE.
And BLUES
WAX says:
"Malone appeals to the roots and Blues audience with heartfelt
ballads, nuanced arrangements and a never-ending tour schedule.
If one were to take the Blues credibility of Dr. John, the songwriting
of Jimmy Webb and the arrangement skills of early period Elton John,
we see Malone in vesture that suits him perfectly." Read the whole review HERE.
Bob is back on the road again in
August and September, with shows at
Alva's Showroom in San Pedro, CA,
Colorscape Chenango Arts Festival in NY State,
Iridium Jazz Club in NYC,
Johnny D's in Boston, The
Tin Angel in Philly, and much much more!

October 2007
South Bay Music Awards Nomination, Halloween CD Release and Canyon w/AWB! Bob has been nominated for Songwriter of the Year and Blues Group/Artist of the Year here in L.A. in this year's South Bay Music Awards, your vote determines the win! So if you can spare twenty seconds or so, click here to cast your vote! Feeling that the "Monster Mash" was beginning to sound a little threadbare and frayed around the edges, my old friend Paul Zollo and I decided we'd record a new Halloween song. One that, like the aforementioned old chestnut, would rise from the dead every October and generate happiness for kids of all ages, not to mention a nice royalty check. Zollo is an excellent songwriter and also a well known rock journalist (his latest book was the best-selling "Conversations with Tom Petty"). He wrote the song, and I arranged it and sang it and played it. In honor of this fine new recording, we are having a CD Release Concert and Costume Party on Sunday October 28 at Molly Malone's in Los Angeles. The Malone Band will be back once again at the Canyon in Agoura Hills on Friday, November 16, this time to open for 70s funk legends Average White Band. I've got a limited supply of $10 tickets for the show, so if you want some, send me an email and I'll make sure you get 'em! If you haven't been, The Canyon is a great venue with great soud and lights - one of the best places to see us do our show! I've done many a gig with AWB over the years, so it's sure to be a fun night.
